    So this is interesting...

MLB recently announced that Negro League stats would count as MLB stats.

Hank Aaron played in the Negro League... and he's only 7 HRs behind Bonds.

Would love to know where the two fans are now and what happened to them after they were (presumably) thrown in the clink for the night.

Were there any 64-year-olds storming the Capitol earlier this month? Maybe back in the clink.

I've always said that if's the ultimate sandlot pickup game, I'm taking Aaron, Mays and Clemente for my outfield and you can have anybody else you want out there.

I remember seeing Aaron couldn't even appreciate circling the bases for 715 because he didn't know if the fans were there to congratulate him or attack him. Think about that.

When I think of Hank Aaron, the word that comes to mind is graceful.

He was on DP in April, on the anniversary of the home run. They replayed it today.

    Damn.

Graceful, yes. But what a gentleman. Humble. And above all else: Class.

May we all live our lives as he did, be as gracious as he was -- despite all that he endured.

Johnny Bench was also on today and was, as you'd expect, awesome with stories.

    RIP Hammer.

It is not interesting. It is out of the date range.
