MLB pitcher from the '50s and '60s, original member of the Houston Colt 45s, member of the 1967 WS champion Cardinals.

My earliest sports memories are of going with my dad and my little brother to see the Houston Colt 45s play baseball in '62 and '63. And I do remember Hal Woodeshick, probably saw him pitch, although that's a detail I don't recall.

I believe he was the Cardinals' closer on the '67 title team.

Dealt from Houston to St. Louis in part for Mike Cuellar, of all people.
