RIP guy who inspired "Ron Burgundy"

    I've never been to Houston, but I've been to Buffalo many, many times and never failed to have tons of fun.

    This, however, is a compelling argument against the Queen City.

    He was only there for a couple of years in the mid-70s, and everybody was watching Irv talk about pistol-packing punks instead.

    Hey, wait ... I think I know the guy in that picture.

    Irv was ther fucking man, whether he was going on about pistol-packing puinks on the city's south side, a four-alarm blaze on Hertel Avenue that kept Buffalo-area smoke eaters busy (a buddy of mine is convinced that somebody at Ch. 7 set half those fires so they could be first on the wscene - it was Eyewitness News after all) or some bill that Erie County lawmakers were considering.
