RIP Gene Bryson

    Gene, a longtime Wilmington (Del.) News Journal sportswriter and most recently a news editor at Delaware State News died suddenly last week. Hadn't seen this sad news about a tremendous guy posted at this site. Those of us fortunate to have crossed paths with him on NASCAR, Orioles/Phils and MEAC beats know what a great guy he was.

    The News-Journal's coverage of DSU was among the best in the MEAC. Thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.
