RIP (?) Fred Phelps

Honestly, who gives a shit? Phelps gained so much fame because the media embraced his attention-whoring freak show, and it did so because of the reader/viewer numbers the Westboro stories drew, far more so than because of actual harm caused. He's gone, so now we're out looking for his replacement? Spare me.

There's always gonna be hateful shitheads spewing hateful shit. Here's an idea, how bout we don't give them the attention they're obviously seeking? How bout we don't make them celebrities and put money in their pocket? You wanna hurt them, then ignore them, that's what people like Phelps fear most.

 

It was too hard to ignore Phelps.
So mean-spirited in mocking the deaths of soldiers.
