RIP (?) Fred Phelps

Ken Phelps did have some good numbers.

 

I said this pages ago, but mocking the dead is sure sign of mental derangement.

 

The nuthouses are going to be full with Hitler video makers.

 

The guy is dead.
What use is it raging against him?
Is there a social utility?
I mean this sincerely, not trolling here.

 

The baseball people said get Phelps.

 

Sheer fun.

Plus, our hate makes us powerful.

 

Um, so it's perfectly fine to hate Phelps? But not OK for Phelps to hate whomever? This is getting pretty confusing.

 

He started the hate first. His actions caused our reactions. If he'd treated people nicely, he'd have received a much different reaction.

 

Not bad.

 

But by joining in, you're doing exactly what you accuse him of doing. It's like killing people who kill people. All you get is more dead people.

 

Fred Phelps is one of the reasons I argue against what I consider to be official board policy against criticism of those who just died. And I know Moddy has said it's not an announcement from on high but he did say it, so it has that effect.

Phelps and his brood brought real harm onto people like me. His brand of hatred has reserved a special place in Hell for him. I have no love for the cretin. He is the personification of bigotry and hatred.

I hope he rots in Hell for all eternity, if such a concept even exists. And I don't feel a shred of remorse for that.
