RIP Forrest L. Wood

    The guy who pretty much invented the bass boat died over the weekend. He was a true American success story - rising from nothing to being worth millions. He kept his company HQ in a town of 1,500 deep in the Ozarks and employed more than half the town. He also one of the nicest people you'd ever meet.

    Yep, RIP.
    Ranger makes great boats. They used to do commercials where sections of the transom and gunwales were cut away and Wood would still be moving on down the lake.
