Rest in peace, sir. I wish you could have lived to see the change you fought so hard for.

Will Trump dance on the grave? Be so like him to do it.

He'll probably restrain himself (or be restrained from it) today. Tomorrow or on the day of the funeral, all bets are off.

Rest in peace. He was an example to us all.

I wouldn't add someone like Mark Meadows to my roster of friends nor call him one in private or public, but Cummings was above all of that. I respect that implicitly.

Always respected Cummings - he actually seemed to care about respecting the institution more than dropping soundbites. Heck, Trump even tweeted out a respectful message today.

I was kind of wondering why Shiff seemed to be doing all the heavy lifting on Impeachment. Obviously, these committees can run somewhat on their own, but how was it not well known that he was ailing? As much as I think it's a nice gesture to not rip a committee chairmanship from the hands of an ailing man - shouldn't the committee have been in command of someone that could absolutely focus on it?

Oh - I doubt he did, but it was very well timed considering the outburst yesterday. Shoot, Trey Gowdy even went beyond the one-tweet thoughts and prayers.

Of all the people we've said "Rest in power" about, he may be the most deserving.
