    Maybe they'll take a chunk of it and make a wooden driver for Arnold, Jack or Gary Player to use at the ceremonial tee shot.

    Was surprised this news even got out. Figured Augusta had doubles of every tree in an undisclosed location and when this would happen, a call to the bullpen would fix it.

    My wife works for the Georgia Forestry Association and I DEMANDED that a replacement be found immediately!

    The way ANGC does things, anyone who walks to that area of the course in mid-April will never know there had been a problem. The replacement will look as though it's been there for 70 years.
