    Quintessential Astroturf player. Had no power to speak of, but could really run. Also not bad at getting on base.

    Played on the '87 Giants, forever a highly regarded team here in NorCal. Didn't he battle substance abuse? RIP.

    He was a cousin to the Hammer, John Milner (who also did not live very long, comparatively speaking). And yes, Eddie did have cocaine issues.

    Yes. In the mlb.com article said he battled substance abuse, became and ordained minister and attended AA and NA.
