Was he in Fletch? The inbred from Provo with a shotgun who Fletch tells he's the mattress police?

I've always thought that was him but never have checked. However, it was Fletch who purported to be with the mattress police.

He was also Brendan Fraser's dad in the vastly underrated "School Ties."

You are correct. My grammar was awful. "And to whom he tells he's with the mattress police."

    "Crewe!"

RIP. Loved him in The Longest Yard. Gave dimension to his character and didn't make a bad guy seem all that bad.
