Another NFLer dies in his 50s. Shocking.

He, Ernest Givins and Haywood Jeffires were a dynamite receiving trio for a few years in the late 80s/early 90s.

    RIP.

Amazing career which basically only got going AFTER the age of 28.

I remember having about a dozen copies of this card when I was 9 years old:

    A. Hey, AP, it's Newnan. Not Newman, GA.

    B. RIP, namesake of Sisqo's group.

He didn't make the Pro Bowl in 1998, either.

So when you look up a guy's stats to put in a story you have to say "according to NFL.com"?

    And then there's this:
Attributing stats to a management company? Seriously?

    Glad someone else caught that.
If AP out of Atlanta did this story, you'd think they know better — especially since Newnan is, I don't know, not that far down 85.
Drew Hill is also a Georgia Tech legend and loved by the Yellow Jacket fans and alumni. I've heard nothing but glowing things about him as a person and a player from Tech fans I know.
