He was in the plane crash with the Blink 182 guys a while back. That's all I got.

 

Notable for having dated Mandy Moore and Nicole Richie, and for having survived a plane crash a year or so ago with Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker.

I think he was also once a member of the band Crazy Town, which hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 several years ago with a song called "Butterfly."

 

I must be old because I have no idea who this guy is.

 

Yeah, I don't know who he is either other than that he hangs with that whole Hollywood "celebrity" crowd, like Lindsay, Paris, et. al.

 

Heaven needed a celebrity DJ?
He died doing what he loved ... drugs.

 

There's some Final Destination type action with him surviving the plane crash just a year ago.

He also threw out the first pitch at the Mets game on Sunday. No joke.

Holy shit.

Guy lost about 300 pounds or something with the gastric bypass a few years ago. He dated Nicole, dated Mandy (who went back to take care of him after the plane crash). He spun at the NASCAR banquet party at Marquee I went to three years or so ago. I mean, in reality, he's just a DJ, didn't cure cancer, didn't save starving children. But damn.

 

The Mets curse now striking first-pitch-throwing celebrities.
