    RIP. I was afraid to see "The Killing Fields" for a very long time, because I knew it would haunt me, and sure enough, it did.

    2 million deaths.
    And both the main players in that movie somehow survived.

    Anyone who thinks they've covered something "dangerous" should watch that film.
    Those are the real journalistic "nuts" people.
    The folks covering the wars.
    Especially a conflict the magnitude of the one in Cambodia at that time.

    We all should be very thankful for being born in a free country. This man's story strongly reminds me of this fact.
