Beth Howland of 'Alice' sitcom dead at 74

Apparently her husband, actor Charles Kimbrough, is our own Dick Whitman. He's just now released the news even though his wife died on New Year's Eve.

He just wishes he were dead. He's in Starkville.

I've never heard of someone wanting their passing only to be revealed months later. I'm guessing her close friends obviously knew. Formerly married to Michael J. Pollard, survived by Charles Kimbrough (Jim Dial from Murphy Brown). So I guess she didn't really have a "type."

I thought we were no longer going to be able to use a font for our boxes.
