Loved that scene. I'm really bummed out, I'm a Hopper fan and figured this was coming soon. Still, it sucks.

Man, I'll have to go watch some Blue Velvet again soon. RIP Shooter!

  2. Hopper was stoned out of his tree when he filmed Apocolypse. Ad-libbed much of the scenes. Nearly drove Coppola crazy

I"m in the minority, I'm sure, but I thought he hammed it up big-time in that movie. Way over the top.

Impossible to play an Indiana high school's biggest supporter over the top. Critcizing the job he did in Hoosiers can be made by those without logic or good sense. :)

He's got a real wing dinger of a suit.

I don't think I want to live in a world where the RIP Gary Coleman thread is up to four pages while Dennis Hopper doesn't even have one.

And that scene from True Romance is one of the best ever. RIP Dennis (and Gary too but I don't want to be part of the problem).

I get your point, but that was the role of Shooter. Wouldn't have worked as well had he been pickled and slumped over in the corner of the locker room.

I remain pissed off the do-gooders and PC police made them take off Hopper's crazy referee commercials because they were somehow an insult to the mentally ill.

"Sometimes, I see Barry in my sleep ... and I don't sleep that much."

    Enjoy:

And the Bruce Smith commercial. "Bad things, man."

One more: "Marbles is a game."

The Sterling Sharpe one is pretty good too. Like a freight train with stick'um.

    Two great commercials:
Dennis Hopper as the crazy ref and Tracy Morgan as goofy fan.
