    With the '64 Phillies, he won a game on July 5 to go 9-5 and look like he might make good on his preseason prediction to win 20. He finished 12-14. Lost seven decisions in a row at one point and didn't win again until Sept. 7. Then he won three starts in a row.

    Last three starts, he allowed nine runs in 10 innings, lost two games and had one no decision.
