    I'm with ya, Dan.

At the time, that was really pretty ground-breaking for a sitcom, where they always were keeping things light. But here, you had a front-row seat of a marriage disintegrating, so to speak, as a sitcom went on around it.

    RIP to Mr. Groh.

    Sirs, Madames,

    My favorite Carlton line:

C the D to Rhoda: "Maybe we should go on a date?"
    Rhoda: "The twelfth of Never."
C the D: "See you then."

I have to second that though I'm in the younger crowd (early 30's). I remember crawling over in front of the t.v. to watch MTM, Rhoda, Bob Newhart, Good Times, etc. I never understood why Rhoda's husband walked out the door and never came back to the show. That was when I was a toddler. Fast forward to today, when I read the obit and read why. It was part of the storyline.

RIP to David Groh. There are so many underappreciated actors/actresses who fly under the radar unless they are remembered for a notable role. We may have to start a new thread and rehash it again, for old times sake.

I'll admit, I had to look up on IMDB what all this guy had been in.
Pretty much consisted of every second- and third-rate TV series from about 1985 on. Dude was all over the map.

I'm sure he'll appreciate the company, then.

  10. They even brought Lowenstein back so that his prison therapist could kill him.
And that one about the stalking-judge also starred Jane Kaczmarek from Malcolm In The Middle.

    Mr Bastard,

Voice distorted: "It could be so easy ..."

The tape threatening his mistress. David Groh ... he was in the middle of Malcolm's mother and crossed Jordan in one episode, whatta man.

    YD&OHS, etc
