    Many times, that may very well have been the case. He was known to have hit the waves quite a bit in his spare time. In fact, in the AP story, Tim Flannery talked about a bunch of his buddies going out soon and spreading his ashes in the ocean.

    Astros pitchers -- past and present -- really seem susceptible to misfortune and tragedy. Don Wilson, Darryl Kile and J.R. Richard jump immediately to mind.

    Well...Kile died several years ago. The trio I listed all died within the past two years, I believe.

    Six is many compared to few.
    Couple = two
    few = three to five
    lot/many = six and up

    Saw topic of post and immediately thought of former DMN sports boss. Guess that would have been on the j-board.
