I wonder if he already has gone deep on Donnie Moore in the afterlife.

My memories are of Hendu with those WS teams in the late 80s at Oakland. He was a bad man for sure and knew how to take care of bidness. Rest in peace, Hendu.

Henderson was one of the easiest baseball players to root for. Ever. He played with such joy.

I'm hoping he doesn't encounter Donnie Moore in the afterlife. Ever.

Also nearly was a World Series hero in '86 when he hit the go-ahead homer in the 10th inning of Game 6. Which ended up getting forgotten about thanks to Schiraldi, Stanley and Buckner.

RIP. He was an excellent player.

Used to curse his name constantly after 1986 (at least until the 2002 World Series), but always recognized him as a good, solid player and by all accounts, a great teammate. RIP.

And, as hack alludes to, I don't think Henderson and Moore are going to be in the same place in the afterlife.

Everybody's list is different but that homer off Moore is one of the top 10 sporting moments of my lifetime.

    One fucking strike away ...

I was indifferent on the 86 playoffs but, damn, Henderson was a gamer.

"Royals or drama" is what I was rooting for.

    Certainly got drama in 1986.
