What a gutless bunch of pigs.

They had five of their last seven games at home and the NFC East was on a platter for them. They lose their last three at home and today, they lift up their skirts and show their ass to the world. They lose to a 2-13 team that only had to show up to win the Brady Quinn / Adrian Peterson sweepstakes. Instead, Oakland gets the No. 1 pick, and it's a one-way ticket to Seattle for the Slowpokes.

Their defense is pathetic. If Mike Zimmer is still pulling a paycheck after this year, I'd be floored. The only one who showed up today to play was DeMarcus Ware.

Their punt coverage is pathetic, too. Here's a stat for you: McBriar punted twice for a 51 average, but his net average was only 15.

The next big game in December the Cowboys win under the New Jersey Con Man will be their first. Hell, they can't even beat the stinko Lions in December.

Ray Lucas without the ability to play safety, running back or receiver or return kicks, maybe.

I agree with plenty of what FB said.

The saddest part is, the Cowboys will still have a decent shot to beat the similar sad-sack Seahawks. Yes, they won today, but what are they, 1-3 in their last 4? This could be a bad game.

I'm OK with Romo. He sucked today (3 lost fumbles and an INT) but he still got them within a yard of maybe forcing OT at the end. That is why he is a Jedi.

Seahawks lost to an 8-8 playoff team two years ago.

... against the Lions. At home.

No WAY. No one was more fond of Lucas than me (a co-worker and I argued throughout the 1999 season over whether Lucas was the Jets' best QB now that Testaverde was hurt...I was proven correct when he steered them to an 8-8 finish). But Lucas was a one-trick pony. He had limited skills outside of his impressive athleticism. He wasn't a quarterback.

Romo is. Though it sure has looked as if the league is figuring him out.

AND, he's banging Carrie Underwood. He wins!
