Set 'em up Joe and play Walkin' The Floor ...<blockquote>Singer-songwriter Vern Gosdin, who achieved mainstream country success in the '80s with hits such as "Set 'Em Up Joe" and "Chiseled in Stone," died late Tuesday (April 28) at a Nashville hospital at age 74. The album that he recorded with Gene Clark is one of my favorites.

Wow, he was still charting singles at age 59. Only in country.

Not at all unique in country, either. George Strait turns 57 this year and is not only still charting, he's still going to No. 1.

His upbeat version of "Way Down Deep", with Ricky Skaggs doing the background vocals, will shiver your timbers.

Woodland, Alabama doesn't advertise that fact? I guess they have too much else going on.
