    One of the all-time greats. I can’t add to what’s already been said, so I will, anyway. Whenever I’d read one of his stories, I’d quote Mitch Hedberg in my mind, “What happened to the Dufresnes?”

    I had a terrifying thought yesterday. I read the post on the Twitter thread about the guy who drove his car into a manure pond. I wrote: Andy Dufresne says, hold my beer.

    I was thinking about it a few minutes later and I went back to make sure I wrote "Andy" and not my colleague "Chris." I did write Andy, so no big deal. I went back to the main board and see "RIP Chris Dufresne." It was an eerie, sad morning.

    Great guy.

    Exceptional writer.

    So young.

    His 3 sons all responded to a FB post I did on Chris. His widow too.

    What a loss. He will be missed.
