He also narrated a Mutual of Omaha-type wild animal show that I remember watching on Sundays as a kid.

 

The original host was Marlin Perkins.

 

Now, the Oscars can skip over him, too, in the In Memoriam piece.

 

Except, unlike Farrah, Forsythe actually had a couple of memorable roles on the big screen.

 

....As in Hitchcock's "The Trouble With Harry," co-starring Shirley MacLaine. It's a great movie which he was terrific in.

 

I thought this was about the death of the last VietCong fighter.

 

When he got to heaven, did he say "Hello, angels!?!"

 

Before Charlie & Dallas he played in a TV comedy in the late 50's and early 60's "Bachelor Father" One of my favs.
