    Saw him shut down the late 80s Brewers when he pitched for the Twins. RIP.

    Not sure but that may be the first no-hitter I can remember. It's either him or Len Barker (or did Nolan Ryan throw one in 1980?). Sounds like he was a wonderful guy.

    Lea's no-hitter happened on May 10, 1981, Barker threw a perfecto against Toronto five days later and Ryan no-hit the Dodgers in September of that year.
