RIP, Capt. Peacock....(British Actor Frank Thornton dies)

    Hope there is no D-B here, but just saw this. I loved him in Are You Being Served?, and the season or two he did in another show, Last Of The Summer Wine. RIP.

    Are You Being Served? could very well be the ugliest TV cast of all time.

    But damn that was a funny show. Loved watching the re-runs on PBS every Sunday night.

    That leaves Mr. Rumbold (Nicholas Smith) as the last surviving regular cast member. I wouldn't have expected that.
