I just watched "Good Morning, Vietnam" a couple of weeks ago (have it on DVD). Bruno Kirby's Lt. Hauk was a great foil for Adrian Cronauer.

    RIP.

Second time I've posted this in a span of a few days. This one is with a much heavier heart.

"Sir, in my heart I know I'm funny."

    RIP.

  4. My favorite throw away Bruno Kirby line was from When Harry Met Sally - "You made a woman meow?"

"He doesn't get it. He'll never get it!"

I loved him in City Slickers, although he was awesome in so many other roles. I just haven't seen GMV as often as some of you to appreciate him in that one.

Wow, I'm really disappointed to hear that. He was terrific.

"You know what Sammy shoulda called that book? 'Yes I Can... If Frank Sinatra says it's OK!'"

    RIP.

God, I loved this man.  Can't believe that "Godfather 2" wasn't the first thing they mentioned about him, even though I adore "When Harry met Sally".  An actor's actor.

He'll be missed. Somewhere better, people are greeting him by shouting "Baby fish mouth!"
