Silverado has such an awesome cast, Jeff Goldblum, John Cleese, Kevin Costner and Linda Hunt have relatively small roles supporting Scott Glenn, Kevin Kline, Danny Glover and Dennehy.

Yep. Top-5 Willy Loman all-time. Same for his James Tyrone in Long Day's Journey.

He did a tremendous production of 'Endgame' at the Long Wharf a couple years ago with Reg E. Cathey.

    Both gone.

    Rest.

Silverado was an example of everyone's best, from Kasdan to the cast to the DP and art directors. There's so much to love about that movie.

Loved him in F/X with Brian Brown. He played a great cop in many movies, but that's one I watched repeatedly.

I had forgotten his role as the sympathetic bartender in "10." But, anybody whose main memory from that movie is Brian Dennehy needs to have his head examined.

Oh, I forgot about his role in "Foul Play." I always loved that movie.

I'm sure there's more roles of his that I'll be remembering as we go. Another that came to mind was a small guest shot in "M*A*S*H" as an MP grilling Major Burns on some stolen Korean artifacts.

Silverado wasn’t a big hit when it came out
It caught on thanks to HBO and Blockbuster
That and The Long Riders are my favorite Westerns

Not a hit? Chevy named a truck line after it!
