    I always wanted to be on the Bozo Show when I was a kid, but my folks didn't want to drive me 50 miles to the studio so I never did. Alas.

    The WGN Bozo was Bob Bell, who created the Bozo Show, I believe.

    No disrespect to any other Bozos, but the Bozo of Ray Rayner and Cuddly Duddly and Ringmaster Ned.....that's my Bozo.

    You know what, I feel really sad for Mr Harmon....you spend a lifetime becoming one of the major Bozos, and everyone keeps saying 'oh, he wasn't THAT Bozo...'

    So RIP to a fine Bozo, even if he wasn't THAT Bozo. I think our fellow journalist Mary Richards said it best, in her eulogy of Chuckles the Clown: 'A little song, a little dance, a little seltzer down your pants.'

    Other than for his passing, I don't feel THAT sad for Herr Harmon. He owned the rights to Bozo and licensed them nationwide for decades. Maybe other local Bozos got glory, but Herr Harmon got the green.
