    So, in the span of, what, 15 or 20 years, San Francisco produced Rosburg, Ken Venturi and Johnny Miller? Wow.

    According to Dan Jenkins in one article, Rosburg has perhaps the great short game of his time.

    rossie was a classic.

    we still use his classic phrase, "He's got no chance," when we are on the course.

    My paper spelled his name "Rosberg" in the hed 50 years ago. Some things never change. RIP.
