    Peanuts taught life lessons and demonstrated the merits of decency in human behavior for decades.

    It's a blessing it remains in reruns in many papers.

    We are unlikely to see its like, again.

    For me, comics died when Calvin and Hobbes went away.

    I too miss Spaceman Spiff. Also miss The Far Side.

    My 9 year old came home from school with C & H, & now my twin 7 year olds are into it too. I have to look again, see if they really get it.

    When Calvin and Hobbes ended, I stopped turning to the comics page.

    Pity that wonderful strip lives on the rear window of pickup trucks via the 'Calvin pissing' decal.
