    Chronicled his fight with Alzheimer's over the years. Did not know him well at all - only interacted with him a couple of times but he was always very gracious.

    He spoke once at Penn State while I was in college. He struck me then as a relatively humble, understated guy. RIP.

    Philly legend. Worked with Roger Ebert back in his first job in Illinois and the late film critic spoke highly of Lyon in his memoir.
