    I LOVED those Miller Lite ads from that era. I remember one where Davidson, Ray Nitschke and Rosey Grier were crocheting "Lite Beer from Miller ... everything you always wanted in a beer ... and less."

    OK, we can't go any longer talking about his acting/commercial work without mentioning his small but memorable part in the original "M*A*S*H" movie.

    My parents went to a party at Super Bowl XXIII and got his autograph on a Miller Lite promo card, I've got it buried in a box somewhere...RIP
