Dan Patrick’s story about turning the PIR gig down is pretty funny.

Apparently you must take the job sight unseen, without negotiation or even knowing what you’ll be paid — something that scared away a guy like Patrick who has such a lucrative, established career.

Patrick later found out he turned down $10 million a year.

Ok don’t think I’m weird or anything, but last night I had a dream I was watching jeopardy and Alex just kealed over and died right there on stage.
I guess that’s how much he means to me. RIP.
By the way, my number one kind of dream I have recently (at least that I remember afterwards) is that I’m working at the paper and the bosses (suits! Hi fake Frederick, there can only be one) have given us some impossible task that makes no sense.

 

I was listening to Marketplace the other night and thought that Kai Ryssdal would be the perfect new host.

 

This is actually interesting.

Trebek's replacement will, without a doubt, be a POC and likely a woman. That's the way the winds are blowing these days.
