RIP, 90s one-hit wonder that you haven't thought of in roughly 13 years

In the States, they probably are.

EDIT: Nope. "It's All Been Done" and "Pinch Me" were also sizeable hits.

Wang Chung, on the other hand, had three Top 20 hits, including "Let's Go" and "Dance Hall Days."

Two-hit wonder, I believe: Fly and Every Morning.

When It's Over and Someday were also fairly big hits. I always thought they had a great sense of self-awareness as a band. Their second album was titled "14:59" (as in, their 15 minutes of fame are about to expire).

But Sugar Ray's greatest achievement may have been Mark McGrath's total domination of VH-1's Rock N Roll Jeopardy ... the one with him against Foreigner's Mick Jones and Motley Crue's Vince Neil was the Little Big Horn of game show episodes.

    Barenaked Ladies were/are terrible.

    Carry on.

"Falls Apart" and "Answer The Phone" were pretty popular, too.

Sugar Ray was a great guilty pleasure band.

I swear I heard the hook from "How Bizarre" in a another song. I have never found it, but I know I heard it somewhere in some 1970s tune.

Y'know, I KNEW they had more than the two songs, but all I could come up with Fly and Every Morning. They're pretty much the perfect late 90's pop rock band (more so than Smashmouth).

"Call And Answer" is one of the greatest ex-girlfriend songs ever. I almost wish it'd come out in 1992 instead of 1998, when I was happily with my future wife.

I think they did that as their final encore on the Stunt tour. It was fucking majestic and gorgeous...almost hymnal with Steven Page (I think he was the singer) repeating the "here to rebuild" line.

"The Old Apartment" goes down as the No. 1 stalker song in history, in my opinion.

"These things used to be mine.. I guess they still are, I want 'em back!!!"

I see your "This Old Apartment" and raise you an "Every Breath You Take." :D

Other random one-hit wonders of the '90s who are presumably still alive:

    Chesney Hawkes
    Charles and Eddie
    Saigon Kick
Natural Selection (they might have had two)
    Shawn Mullins
