At the advice of a fellow concerned journo, I happened upon this today. Wow. Hard to figure out where to start ripping this. What do you think?

The blog's ridiculous, but spare me the "concerned journo" act, please.

Isn't Tim Gayle the Bama beat guy for the Montgomery paper?

Does this in any way bring anyone else to Plain Dealer thoughts?

Compare that blog with that of Jay Tate, the Auburn writer for Montgomery. Hard to believe they work at the same paper.

I knew Jay Tate well back in the day. That blog reads completely like him. I would read that, as much as I hate blogs, if I gave a flying shit about Auburn.

    He has a good flow.

Jay's got a great blog - I don't care about Auburn either but I read his and plenty of other writers of schools that don't concern me. It helps a lot with my blog for the school I cover, which I try to update at least once a day.

  12. I think I don't care.
I'll get back to you when I'm sure.
