    Not that it matters, but I'd point out that the Celtics were already in the toilet when Pitino took over.

    There's a lot of revisionism to the "Pitino ruined the Celtics" narrative. The Celts went 15-67 the year before Pitino, he improved them to 36-46 the next year. The Pitino years were no worse than those immediately preceding them.
