There were 5 fewer teams then. The talent was less spread out and you had to play the better teams more often.

Exactly. What is Pitino plugging that would require him agreeing to this?

Hey guys, the DJ has some words for his "haters":

None of that makes what they did right in any way, shape or form.

I bet Ricky got right on phone with his agent / publicist after that call and blasted
    them for setting him up.

Caught him on Morning Joe. He just does not look right. Really gaunt.

I think it is a proven fact of sports talk radio that being the Bigger Asshole is the path to higher ratings. Which says a lot, none of it good, about the audience.

It's a humor show. They tried for humor. This is like going on Howard Stern and complaining when he asks you about your sex life.

I have a message for him: Kiss my ass.

It's doucheflushers like him who have made sports talk radio (especially) an absolute load of shit.

But there's something to that for his listeners. People want to know about Jessica Hahn's (damn, I'm dating myself) sex romps.

What's funny about saying, "haha, you suck?" and then hanging up? That sounds like a prank call I made when I was 12. I can appreciate humor, when it exists.

I don't know what was more annoying, the bit itself, or everyone at the station giving each other handjobs about funny they thought it was.
