Aside from the inherent awkwardness -- Rodriguez's face couldn't hide it -- does anyone else have a real problem with this? In your opinion, was the report better or worse for it?

Loved it. Two baffoons sharing air time.

Can I interview the person who replaces me for my next gig?

If you work in newspapers, there won't be one.

Calm down there Sparty. CBS couldn't put Dantonio on because he's so god damn smug the cameras would have broken.

And I think it was unfair to put Rodriguez or Hoke in that situation. Very bad on CBS' part.

Well -- and the disclaimer is I have a dog in this overall hunt, but not this particular division -- I can't believe both parties didn't agree it was OK before it was done. Rich Rod wasn't the only person at the desk. I'm sure somebody could have declined, and they would have done it a different way.
