Given the one ad that cost him the race, I'd be pretty bitter, too.

Interesting stuff today with Kerry endorsing Obama...does this mean Edwards is the next to drop out if his own running mate from 4 years ago doesn't endorse his candidacy?

No shit. It was a slasher, even by political ad standards.

A political snuff film, if you will.

  5. Harold Ford, Jr.?
The Great White Black Hope of the DLC? The guy who spent the whole campaign sucking up to the Jeebus folks in the vain pursuit of white male voters who wouldn't vote for him anyway, thereby pissing away a chance to make Joe Lieberman irrelevant in the Senate?
    Pass.

Lots of folks "suck[ed] up to the Jeebus folks" in a bunch of Southern states -- Mr. Ford wasn't the only one.

Still doesn't excuse the RNSC ad.

That doesn't give the ticket any "regional balance" Indiana and Illinois.

Bush and Cheney both lived in Texas ... Clinton and Gore were both southerners

And if that ticket won, wouldn't Indiana's Republican governor appoint a Senate successor? You could easily see a 54-46 Senate after the election, but the Dems are going to want all the cushion they can get.

If Obama gets the nomination, I'm guessing his VP candidate will be an old, white, male governor. Any suggestions?

And he said he's not endorsing anyone.

Interesting all this fodder about Michael Bloomberg......
