Ric Flair gets beaten up by daughter's boyfriend? Not exactly a "woo!"

Aside from the obvious problems with the lede that have been pointed out, this article was also way too breezy for a news section IMO.

Using phrases like "Yes, folks," and "Huh?" might have their place in the NY Post, but not in a respectable newspaper.

Agreed. The tone of the article is definitely inappropriate, just one of the distracting flaws in the story.

Might a folding chair have been involved?

A three-word explanation: Paxton Media Group.

    Or a foreign object?

  6. Why didn't the rest of the Four Horseman come running from the apartment next door to stomp down the daughter's boyfriend?

With Tony Schiavone standing in the kitchen yelling "We're outta time! We gotta go! Stay tuned for Braves baseball!"

When there's no more steroids, it's a shame what happens to old wrestlers...

Would it be too much to ask that the boyfriend's name be Tommy "Wildfire" Rich?

I think it was Buddy Landell, who also went by the nickname Nature Boy, whatever that matters.
