    The part about recognizing that a friend of his wife's is a friend of hers -

    1) I don't even get what that means.
    2) Is it even relevant to the story?

    Well, feminists among you liberals might like the axis of the world shifted to female authority...win win would mean your president is ruling the country and the women are running the house. We are, after all, in the process of demasculinization of society.

    That ......was on my mind.
    Oh and just to clarify, wife knew a friend who knew his wife and knew of the "arrangement."
