I'm surprised anyone from the Jets has anything to do with his show.

Slightly off topic, but Rex Ryan is quickly becoming his father -- a guy who was a hell of a coordinator but whose mouth got the best of him as a coach. Granted, Rex already has had a lot more postseason success than Buddy, but his schtick is losing its effectiveness by the sound byte.

The only mistake the Jets PR guy made was actually apologizing to that asshole. Well, that and not telling Revis to hang up sooner.

Why is this shit even considered news? It's not.

Revis hung up on a guy. Big fucking deal.

I saw Ian recently at a Redskins game. Didn't know he'd moved on to ESPN-NY, which I thought was a full-time gig for him. Not sure I understand why it was a "special" tag.

The "Special to ESPN.com" is a complicated one... There are a lot of full-time ESPN employees that get that tag because they don't technically work for the dotcom. They're very territorial there. I think Peter Gammons was always a "Special to" and John Clayton might have been as well...

    It's idiotic, but it's ESPN...

A.) I don't know why it's "special to" either for Ian.
B.) Neither Gammons nor Clayton were "special to." They were bylined.

I've never seen that layout or those colors. I have no idea what that page is or when it's from..

But anything that appeared on ESPN.com, at least for the past several years has looked like this:

    http://sports.espn.go.com/boston/columns/story?columnist=gammons_peter&id=4713658

    So, probably not "was always."

Here is interview. Seems like Francesa thought he was having loose banter with Revis and Revis misunderstood and thought he was being badgered.

The Jets have egg on their face for this one. Having the PR guy jump in seemed a tad big brotherish.
