At least they are not outnumbered in the court of public opinion.

    How do you figure?

Walker's approval ratings have nosedived. So have those of his counterpart in Ohio, John Kasich, who is trying many of the same things.

Even though Prosser will likely escape, he should have been re-elected easily. Instead, it was a nailbiter against a virtual unknown. And at least a few of the state senators in Walker's party are facing recall elections, and Walker may as well.

three dems also facing recalls...and despite the unions and dems going all-in on Kloppenberg they still lost.

It's a fucking Supreme Court vote. Those are normally as automatic as it gets.

And if the opposition group numbered 5,000 I'd estimate 4,900 of them had no idea why they were there other than to hang out together and protest something.

Nice city but full of fruitcakes.

And this comes from someone who doesn't want Palin anywhere near a position of power.

Testy? Hardly. It's just that anyone with a shred of sense knows that these votes are almost always a rubber stamp. Wisconsin hasn't cashiered a Supreme Court judge since 1967. The fact that the GOP had to defend an automatic spot doesn't speak well for them.

If that helps you to sleep better at night, cool with me.
