    Mike - Is it too late to get my application in for consideration? I used to cover NASCAR, then went into business for myself. I now want to get back into journalism.

    Word on the boots line is that Harris has hired a desk guy from Roanoke. Pretty good credentials from what we've been hearing. The Tech job will be tough to fill. Harris did a good job, especially given the logistics of covering the beat.
     
  8. Somebody out there is about to upgrade their situation. Sources familiar with the telephone call indicate that The Richmond Editor is exceptionally cool.
