    Has Scout fired him yet?

Does anyone know if they plan to?

    Nah, they won't fire him.

The guys paying his bills, the message board droolers, are all behind him so why the fuck should scout.com care?

Have to agree there. Please put an end to this? The only thing that should have ended is his writing career, such that it is.

From what I heard Scout.com suspended him for 60 days.

That is ridiculous. They should have just fired him.
By suspending him, it is an admission of guilt and, when you are guilty of plagiarism, termination is the only proper action.

    Scout.com got this one wrong.

Better save that last sentence. You're gonna need it again soon.

    What does that mean?

Oh, I thought that just came to be expected. I didn't think it needed pointed out.

Back to the punishment, though, what are your thoughts?

You plagiarize, you lose your job.

    Agreed, 100 percent.

I cannot believe this guy got a 60 day suspension. It is laughable.

Exactly, and JuneBug nailed the reason why. A 60-day suspension says, "We know he did it, but we don't think he deserves to be fired for it"

So he's suspended from a college beat in April and May?
