Reporter, Great Falls (Mont.) Tribune

    The Great Falls Tribune is seeking an enthusiastic sports reporter to join our sports staff. This person will be responsible for covering high school and college sporting events along with some professional baseball in the Great Falls area. This position also requires the ideal candidate to have an extensive knowledge and utilization of social media skills (Tweets and Facebook). Along with reporting, qualified candidates will have the responsibility of some copy desk duties as well. Photography experience is a plus.

    If you have the following qualifications, we would like to talk with you about this position: reporting experience with a weekly, daily or college newspaper, excellent grammar skills, ability to multi-task and thrive in a deadline driven environment, a degree in journalism/mass communications or equivalent experience is highly preferred.

    This is a full-time position with a work schedule that could include weekends, evenings and holidays.

    I'll vouch for Scott and Jesse Geleysne as great guys as well. That paper has seen a lot of whittling down (haven't we all), but the structure to do solid work is there.
