    I have thought about that. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, everything was available for a price or for taking by force. It spawned a handful of oligarchs who still rule based on what they were able to get their hands on. How the nuclear arsenal remained safe is a miracle.

    Yeah. May be wishful thinking on my part. I was with Gee on thinking that something bad would have happened long ago if there were nukes or nuke materials that had made their way into rogue hands.

    My buddy's last name was Bland and he was a Middle Eastern Studies major in college, so his natural nickname was Talibland. That was his team name (on Yahoo) for a while before he quit fantasy. Maybe he knew something we didn't.
