It's not a report -- the Globe, NYT and Henry have confirmed it.

The word "chicken" will now be banned in the Globe.

If I'm the Herald, I hate this. Good luck getting scoops now.

If I'm the Globe, I hate this even more. Good luck writing any story that has any negative angle.

Are the words Bucky Dent going to be allowed in the Globe now? :)

In fact, even if the Globe's coverage reamains top-notch, the Herald can still sell itself as the one Boston paper that's not a house organ.

Globe editors are going to be very upset to learn that fried chicken and beer are verboten in the late innings of a baseball game.

It's in Henry's interests for both the Sox and the Globe to leave coverage of the team alone and as it is. And he's more than sharp enough to know that.

    That.

Howie Carr in typical form, hoping to see many of his fellow journalists tossed out on their asses.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Herald lost its credentials to Red Sox games now.
