Report: Most...er...ALL of London doesn't know where Toledo, Ohio is...

Long story short: Manet exhibit opened last fall in Toledo. The exhibit moved on to London in late Jan. and in reviews done by art critics over there, they do not mention that it began in the Midwestern town.
That leads to an "investigation" as to why the Brits "snubbed" the Toledo Museum of Art...

Headline should be "its" not "it."

 

Actually, in the context they are using, it's not even needed in the hed.

I will say that for the city's relatively small size and economic power, the art museum in Toledo is pretty impressive. Libbey's clout at the turn of the century allowed it to be what it is. I used to spend hours in the Egyptian exhibit as a kid. But I wouldn't expect people in London to be able to pinpoint Toledo on a map.
